Genevieve Haw 74 wife of the late George Haw dies Sunday at Atlantic Memorial hospital after two days as a patient. Born February 1 1876 in Henry county she grew up in Mt Pleasant attended Iowa Wesleyan College and lived in Ottumwa Des Moines before settling in Atlantic in 1942. Survivors include daughter Mrs Wayland Hopley sister Mrs Carrie Powell two grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p m at Taylor funeral home with Rev A D Steffenson and Oakwood cemetery in Lewis.

Greenfield Mrs Earl Harwood 19 of Menlo died Sunday morning in Greenfield hospital from injuries from a head on collision near Menlo that killed her 16 month old son Stephen and Nels Johnson 55 of Menlo who died in hospital Thursday. Harwood was daughter of Clarence and countryman. Mary Ann Johnsons daughter 15 was among injured and released Friday. The crash occurred on a country road 31 miles northeast of Menlo when the two cars collided.
