A party of fifty surprised Mr and Mrs Jack Lawson south of town Friday with games music oyster supper. Mrs Jay Reece shopping in Atlantic Saturday. Dr and Mrs C R Jones and family left for California for winter. Don Brown and James Brown visited in Atlantic with Wes Johnson. Mrs John Milne died Sunday noon, age 62 years 10 months. Burial Griswold cemetery. Mr and Mrs Dan Lantig and grandson left for California for winter. Matt Murray and family returning to Atlantic. Sam Eppelsheimer and wife of Wheatland Neb arrived for visit. Mrs F W Hanton and W T OConnell called on Mrs Roy Hedges in Atlantic hospital. Grant Mackrill looked after business in Atlantic.
