Des Moines reports Judge Brennan denied dissolving the receivership in the Wyoming Cattle company case. The court ordered the receiver to wind up affairs and distribute assets. The firm had once owned 37,000 acres in Wyoming, now 15,000 acres plus 800-acre Michigan farm and a few thousand head of livestock. United States and Salvador Sign Up for Peace Treaty. Washington reports the first treaty under Secretary Bryan's plan was signed between the United States and El Salvador and will be sent to the Senate for ratification. Train Hits Auto. One Killed Five Hurt East of Duncombe
A freight train collided with an auto two miles east of Duncombe on the Illinois Central. Ollie Nelson the car owner and driver and Mrs Porter and Henry Gunderson are badly hurt and likely fatally injured. Mrs Porter’s two small children escaped with minor injuries. Mrs Gunderson died after hospital arrival. Nelson had driven the car less than a week when the engine stalled at the crossing as the train struck. Injured were taken to Webster City hospital.
