The Radio Corporation of America announced soon installed wireless phone equipment will allow Pacific coast residents to speak with passengers and officials on ships up to five hundred miles offshore. Arrangements are under way for the International Mercantile Marine fleets including White Star Red Star Holland American and American Lines to receive the system. Similar devices will be placed on China Mail and Admiral Line vessels. The system aims to connect local telephone operators with ships along the Pacific seaboard.
Monte negrin children in Montenegro are being taught to make their own shoes. Material for 500 pairs of shoes has been sent to Dani ilovgrad where orphanage boys will be trained in the trade. The Dani ilovgrad school, founded by the Red Cross, is the pioneer trade school of Montenegro.
