The New Iowa Lutheran Home for the Aged near Madrid was dedicated in a ceremony closing the 82nd Iowa conference session. The $475,000 fireproof structure aims to provide light and cheer for the elderly after the 1908 building burned two years ago. Superintendent Gunt Sanborn cited fireproof design.
