TV Tube Explodes Damaging Des Moines Home

A fire at Dr. Verne J. Wilson’s Des Moines residence caused about 1000 dollars in damage Friday night. Mrs. Wilson unplugged a 27 inch television as it began to fail. a few minutes later Molly, 12, saw the set explode when firefighters extinguished the blaze.
