Amundsen Plans Polar Flight for North Pole Study
Captain Roald Amundsen announces a four year Arctic expedition beginning June 1 to float with the ice over the roof of the world. Two airplanes, food for five years, and a radio network will aid scientific work and weather observations from Nome to Wrangel Island.
