Five Injured In Wreck Near Ankeny Iowa
Des Moines April 3 five persons were injured one seriously when the Northwestern railroad northbound Ames to Chicago train wrecked two miles north of Ankeny. Spreading rails are blamed the wreck left two coaches a baggage car and the engine tender in the ditch causing the cars to turn over. Sixty passengers faced a narrow escape as rescue crews responded to the scene.
