Heirs Seek Set Aside Deed In Waco Land Fight

Attorneys Follett and Roorman sue in Texas courts to set aside a deed for 104 acres near Waco over ten thousand dollars. They claim M McMahon, age seventy five, was not of sound mind and that his wife used undue influence when the August 25 deed naming the wife only was made just after his August 28 marriage before his September 5 death.

A W Thompson Undergoes Serious Hospital Surgery

A W Thompson of Hik Horn underwent a serious operation Wednesday at the hospital for a ruptured appendix. Dr Burke operated with Drs Koob and Emmert assisting. The patient is reported in very good condition but remains seriously ill.
