Splendid Recital by Raymond C. Beaver at Vose Hall
A fair sized crowd attended last evening's song recital by Raymond C. Beaver of Anita with Miss Pearl Wagner as accompanist. The audience size was not large but appreciative as Beaver demonstrated a remarkable range and ease in reaching top notes and solid control in the lows. His first number The Mighty Deep drew favorable reaction, followed by The Little Irish Girl and Three for Jack. Miss Wayner offered a piano piece Springtime and earned an encore. Beaver then closed the first part with A Soldier Song, drawing further applause and another call for him to perform again.
