Chicago Stock Markets Summary June 6 Hog and Cattle Rates
Chicago stock market notes show hog receipts at 30,000 with close up from session lows. Hogs sold mixed with butchers 9.10 to 9.35, sows around 9.00 to 9.10, pigs 8.85 to 9.80. Cattle receipts 18,000 with steady to higher bids for beeves 5.75 to 8.60, cows and heifers 2.90 to 7.10, stockers 4.00 to 6.45, westerns 5.30 to 7.70. Sheep receipts 15,000 with lambs 5.25 to 8.60 and sheep 3.30 to 5.45.
