The Curing of Capt. Chubb
Dr Richard Corbus and vaudeville companion Walter Somers hatch a plan to drug Captain Chubb aboard the Grenville to sever a loveless match with Nancy Chubb. The skipper falls victim to delirium tremens, aided by the scheme, and is cured by a strict diet and treatment aboard ship, leading to a wary gratitude and a drastic change in fortune.
