Soper Couple Returns to Atlantic Buy Oak Street Home

L H Soper and wife have moved back to Atlantic to occupy 600 Oak Street, purchased from Mrs McKenny for 2800 dollars. J S Brown arranged the sale. Soper praises Atlantic’s future, paid the railroad tax, backs the railroad through, and favors paving Firth Street to the fair grounds.

John Snyder is Dead in Audubon County

John Snyder seven miles north of Anita in Audubon township Audubon county died at his home at two o'clock this morning after a short illness. Five or six days earlier he fell ill with grippe which progressed to typhoid pneumonia despite all efforts. He was about forty years old and leaves his wife and six children. He was son-in-law of Mrs. Alex McGaffin and a longtime resident in the area.

Yesterday at eleven relatives gathered at 800 Hazel street to honor Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Carter on their forty fourth wedding anniversary and Mrs. Carter’s seventy third birthday. Evangelist Smith to Begin Union Meeting in March
