Barker separates cream at home and feeds skim milk to hogs, creating a continuous profit chain.

Fort Dodge holders of a mortgage on the Crawford Hotel for 5906.71 filed a petition with the county clerk to sell the building at sheriff sale to satisfy the mortgage. C. J. Crawford and Louise Crawford gave the mortgage to the Fort Dodge Savings Bank on January 20 1905. The petition ends lengthy litigation.
The auditor's office lists Delaware county bounties paid since January 1 1910 totaling payments for eight thousand twenty gophers at one dollar each eight thousand six hundred five woodchucks at two cents apiece one thousand seven hundred twenty one rattlesnakes at fifty cents each thirty eight wolf cubs at two dollars per pelt and six old wolves at five dollars each totaling the bounty sum.

Mrs. S Augusta Armstrong of Buffalo was named vice president, Mrs. Mollie Anderson of Clarksville Missouri became secretary, and Mrs. M D Allen of Clinton was chosen treasurer.
Engineer Mark Scroggy was badly hurt at Mona when his Illinois Central passenger train No 402 struck a box car blown onto the main line by a gust of wind. The collision occurred on the southbound run, causing injuries to the engineer as the train collided with the displaced freight car.

Mrs. Rachel Boone died at her Montrose home aged 88 years 3 months and 14 days. She leaves four sons twenty nine grandchildren and twenty three great grandchildren.
