Vidocq Outsmarts Paris Thieves in a New Year Sting
In 19th century Paris, prefect M. Henry taps Vidocq to take down a rising gang. The former thief dons a disguise, infiltrates Constantine’s crew, stages a theft, signals police, and gathers the gang, including Constantine and Joubert, for arrest at the prefecture on New Year’s Day. Vidocq then returns with the criminals, proving the infamous detective can outwit both thieves and officials.
