Linker leaves today for Kelso, Wash. The Church is discussing a new pastor with another minister but no firm arrangement yet. Methodial Episcopal Church's Rev. W. A. Pratt will be in Athana next week for the year 1918 19. Sunday preaching on Sept 28 is canceled for funerals, with 7:30 pm service titled A Watermark of the Holy Scriptures. Sunday school at 10:2 am. all urged to attend. Earthquake notes report progress in recording instruments by Carnegie Geophysical Laboratory and the acquisition of wax cylinders and improved microphones for seismograph work.
