A local sale promises a new era for the city with a push to become the temple of economy. It touts first class goods, new dry goods, ladies furnishings, shoes, hats, and more, inviting residents to stock up at a mass gathering store within twenty miles.
A long list of deep discounts on men’s and women’s wool underwear, heavy fleece lined garments, ribbed and all wool hosiery, Oneita Union suits, and assorted stockings, overshoes, and dry goods. Prices drop to 10 to 50 percent of regular, with many items offering undercut rates for immediate purchase.
