School District Number 2 reports illness absences for Valarie Cannon and Jewell Pinkerton. Marion Stewart attended Monday. Students enjoyed a half day holiday and a road election was held at the Dist No 2 school house. A new sand table was added to the Hall of Knowledge in Frog Flat. Miss Hereford visited Adams over the weekend, stopping to see Alberta and Joyce Kirby. Mr and Mrs Harve Booker hosted Jesse Smith's family, and C H Potter entertained Walla Walla friends.
A special Thanksgiving service is planned for next Sunday evening at 7 30 with mixed double and male quartettes and a trio. Mr Sins will give a short sermon. Morning services remain normal and all are invited to attend.
The Circuit Court of Umatilla County Oregon requires Edith T. Silvers to answer the complaint in a divorce action brought by Frank L. Silvers. Publication for four weeks in the Athena Press begins November 22 1929 by order of Judge James Alger Fee. Attorney details appear at end.
