A promotional speech for a major sale pledges to transform the local dry goods store into the Penny and Dollar saving hub for all residents. It touts new methods, first class Fall goods, and a wide range of dry goods, ladies wear, shoes, hats, and related items, inviting the public to stock up for the season.
A large closing out sale offers men and women underwear including regular and all wool garments at prices from 25c to $3.10 per piece. Men's sweaters and Arctics discounted, plus various overshoes and children’s rubber footwear. Graniteware to hardware, plus a broad stock of linens and fabrics, all advertised with deep cuts and urging customers to buy before stock is broken up.
Our stock features heavy caps that cover the ears with corduroy in colors. Regular price 60c, closing out at 44c. Black Bread Cloth cape style 60c, closing out 40c. All 35c and 25c caps reduced to 20c.
Heavy duck lined coats in gray and brown double and single breasted styles priced at 1.75 and 1.48 after closing outs. Large boys line at 75c to 1.00. All wool socks offered in grades for men and boys with heavy white and gray versions closing at 28c to 1c and 20c.
