Paradise irrigation pact eyed for Umatilla county
Plans to irrigate 47000 acres in Umatilla county for private interests near Kobo are moving forward. The Paradise Irrigation company, led by J T Hinkle and A Wold, says bonds will sell and construction may start next year, with water from the Umatilla river and a 26 mile main canal.
