Mrs. E R Cox wife of ER Cox died at her home on Wednesday May 27 in Athena, aged 67. The funeral was conducted yesterday by Roules Coloney of the Episcopal church. Her body was taken to the cemetery by Dolph Lodge AF&AM McKeon Chapter CE 8 and many friends attended. She leaves her husband H Cox, who did not attend due to ill health, two sisters and a brother in Port Town. she was active in Athena social life and a prominent worker in the women’s federation of clubs.
