Thumb Injury At Richaran Chopmill

Bert Davis, a worker at the Richaran chopmill, injured his right thumb Saturday when a belt caught between a pulley and the belt. The first joint’s flesh was stripped and the bone fractured. Dr. Sharp treated the wound. Bert will be idle for several days but is relieved that the thumb is saved.
