Charles H. Allen of Urnatutin County died at his home south of Atlani Tant Friday June Mth at age 73. Ill for months, he had served in the home shipyard war work. A Mason and Odd Fellows member, he left three married daughters and a son. Masonic burial services were held at the grave, with funeral cortege leaving the residence at 4 o'clock Sunday and graveside rites at Athena cemetery at 2:40 o'clock.
