Reverend J B Sharp of Philadelphia visiting his brother in Athena will preach at the M E church Sunday morning at 11 and speak on Civic Righteousness at 8 PM at a union temperance gathering in the Christian church. Special music by local choirs and a male quartet planned. Armstrong Found Dead at Helix Home. William Armstrong a 68 year old farm laborer and familiar Helix resident died in his sleep at Robert Montgomery's home five miles from Helix after illness, long employed on Horace Walker's ranch.

Traveling silver trowel arrives in Cheyenne lodges take charge
The traveling silver trowel, slated to visit every country, arrived in Cheyenne on a special Denver train yesterday about 4 30 pm. Oriental lodge No 78 of Denver handed it to Obeyenne lodge No 1 and Acacia lodge No 11 of Cheyenne, which will hold it for 30 days before voting on its next destination Utah or Idaho.

Another Glass Opens for Colt Show at Athens
Glass Nox 14, a special class opened by H A Barrett for grade draft, is listed in the Athens Show Association books. Secretary Norris reported thirty nine entries at noon with stock still to cater. The Kaglak band from Pendleton performed in the parade, which started promptly and will be headed by a cavalcade of Indies on horsesmok. The parade route ran from Second Street to Fifth, then to College and Main, ending near the show grenade.
