Mrs Beckner Injured in Pendleton Car Collision
Mrs. Fred Beckner and Francis Williams sustained painful injuries Tuesday evening near Pilot Rock when a car parked on the highway cut in front of the Beckner vehicle. Mrs. Beckner suffered a broken nose and bruises after being thrown. she was taken to St Anthonys Hospital in Pendleton.

Two Die When Plane Crashes at Vancouver Field
Vancouver Washington Lieutenant Henry Walton Goode of Portland burned to death when Lt Oakley G Kellys DeHavilland plane crashed after takeoff from Pearson flying field at Vancouver barracks.
