Diploma Exercises Highlight Athena Public School
A large audience gathered at the opera house for an Athena public school graduation program with mourned omissions and substitutions. Mrs Hawes absence noted while Prof Kitteridge spoke on education. readings and music followed, with diplomas awarded to Miss Happell and an eighth grade class of 13. Other school achievements and promotional lists for grades appear, alongside Memorial Day observances and a children’s day program at the Christian church.
