Early returns from Oregon counties indicate Vanderburg leading in the 1st district with about 422 votes, while in the 2nd district Griehs pomaliah leads by 400 over his republican opponent. Portland totals are incomplete with Republicans holding county and most city offices, and ghosted by mixed results in Clackamas Marion Yamhill Benton Jackson and other counties.
In Portland crowds celebrate believed wins in Oregon for Vanderberg in the first district and Quinn in the second, with Bourne elected to the legislature. Quinn's victory is hailed though counts stay close, while Republican hopes focus on Mitchell and a possible deadlock in the Oregon legislature.
