A Morrow Escape From Church Siding Incident
Mrs Brelly mother of Mrs 8 D Combs slipped and fell leaving the John Day church Sunday evening hurting her wrist. A buggy shaft came loose causing a runaway as Fred Mosier and wife attempted to move her to Weston for surgery. Mrs Shelly was dragged by clothing but escaped serious injury and is recovering. Weston Leader reports Weston and Athena nine played ball with Weston winning 17 to 16.
