Davis Case Ex Deputy Sheriff Davis on Trial in Pendleton

Ex-deputy C P Davis faces trial in the Pendleton district court over a cash shortage cited in the sheriff office ledgers. J and C Cara Robbed in W and C R siding cars

A string of car robberies hits the Pen diston area with several boxes broken open. Two W and C R siding cars yielded a Dixie Queen tobacco case and a half hog in one. in the other a cabbage load escaped molestation though tobacco was left nearby.
