Many Local Residents Doings chronicled in Athena News
A string of society notes and travel items from Athena report visitors in town, moves to Pendleton and Portland, and plans for local events. Highlights include Mr. and Mrs. Burke visiting Walla Walla, A A Foss in Portland and Port land business trips, and various residents entering or planning activities at Whitman College and the local churches. The column also notes snow in Ikiah and Pilot Rock, pruning of town businesses, and a fundraising benefit for an All Cross auxiliary with Pendleton musicians.
