Populists Elect King Chairman At County Executive Meet
About 40 members attended the populist county executive committee meeting in Milton on Saturday afternoon. Dr. G W King resigns as assistant chairman and is elected chairman to serve until the next county convention. A committee will present to the county court a list of names for precinct judges and clerks. The group favors delaying the county and state conventions until after February 22 due to snow risks. A follow up meeting is planned around February 8 to set the convention date.
