Automobiles Crash at Main Street Intersection

William Howard Pioneer Settler Dies in Pendleton
William Howard, a pioneer resident of the Albee district, died Tuesday evening at St. Anthony's hospital in Pendleton. The cause was Bright's disease and old age. Howard crossed the plains in 1862 and was the first settler to establish a home in the Camas Prairie country.
