A six roundabout route overhaul goes into effect at 12 01 Saturday night altering operations on the Washington division of the O R & N. An entirely new Spokane to Portland via Umatilla train will run and No 1 on the Main Line will reach Pendleton an hour earlier to improve northbound connections. No 8 will transfer passengers from No 1 and pass Athena around 1 p m. Details on No 7 and the Walla Walla Pendleton service are uncertain as equipment additions surge in the Harriman system to rival Hill's North Bank line.
