The Athena school system plans a four day morning opening on September 4 with new primary staff. Miss Della Bryant arrives from Marshfield to lead First and Second grades, Miss Blanche Thorsen will teach Third and Fourth, Miss Rominger returns for Fifth and Sixth, and M. I. Miller resumes Seventh and Eighth and coaches athletics. The high school faculty includes Superintendent Meyer, Miss Bateman, Miss Brodie, Mrs. Frederick, and Mr. Frederick. New Pipe Line To Be Laid At Reservoir

Child Falls From Moving Car In Adams Incident

A suspected yegg operation struck Logsdon’s Meat Market Kilgore’s Cafe and Steve’s Grocery in Athena on Monday night. Horse Found Dead in Cess Pool Near Willaby Place
