New Wheat Rules Not So Stringent In U S Food Admin
The United States Food Administration announces looser wheat rules after Herbert Hoover returns from London. A 20 percent substitute basis replaces the old standard with 40 percent wheat flour allowed. Mixed flours such as wheat plus barley or corn must follow specified ratios.
