Oregon Rail way reorganization plan outlines new bond and stock structure
The plan for forming a new corporation to supersede the Oregon Railway and Navigation Company details $24,000,000 in four per cent bonds and $24,000,000 in stock, with specific allocations to retire existing liens and fund improvements. It also notes reduced first year fixed charges and mentions Coyotes Galore. Jinks Dudley reports coyote abundance and a prior poisoning of his dog. Lloyd Bush is run over by a wagon but survives. Political shifts in Washington spark talk Governor McGraw will leave elected office. A railroad worker, W. A. Miner, dies from natural causes. A contested $600 in an administrator's hands is traced to A. McDaniel. Leather misinformation and local notices accompany general business and crime items.
