Mrs Frank H Spaulding and her two sons Ralph and Angus drowned in Lake Kelso Idaho while attempting to save them from drowning. Olin Spaulding tried to assist but could not save them. The Spauldings were summer campers near Granite. Funeral held Monday amid a car wreck report. Other note: Aberdeen baseball manager report for Gotter Harmon. Jarmo of Walla Walla departure noted.

Dayton farmer battles giant rattlesnake in field
