Villa's body said to be exhumed amid death rumors

Reports from Juarez and Mexico City state Pancho Villa’s body has been disinterred and is with Carranza troops en route to Chihuahua. Tit Burn to Death in New Haven Train Wreck

Bradford R I Thirty or more persons were reported crushed or burned to death in a collision of trains on the New York New Haven & Hartford railroad here Tuesday night. The accident occurred at 7 80 oclock and four hours later wrecking and hospital crews were not to have recovered 30 bodies. The dead were in the rear car from Boston to New London and which had stopped at the local station when it was run down by the Gill Ridge express bound from Boston for New York. This coach was telescoped set afire and burned. The car ahead also took fire destroying both buildings. It was stated that there were known to have been a 7 persona in the destroyed car and that only six of these had been accounted for several hours after. Among those reported to have been burned to death were Miss Janet Clark daughter of William Clark president of the Westerly mill of the American Thread company and W M Barber also of Westerly.

Papen and Four Others Indicted in Canal Plot

Federal grand jury in Washington indicted Captain Franz von Papen former military attaché as organizer and financier of a conspiracy to destroy the Welland Canal in Canada. Also indicted were Captain Hans Tauscher, Constantine Govani, Alfred J. Fritzen, and another unnamed German. Von Papen unlikely to stand trial. indictment held in abeyance if he returns. Plans and specifications for a four reinforced concrete bridge over Ochoco creek near Prineville, prepared by the State Highway department, sent to Crook county court. Estimated cost 3900 dollars.
