Diphtheria and Social Notes From Athena Press Column
A miscellany from Athena Press humorously reflects on fashion hats and polite conduct. It covers Moscow earthquakes, English views on family ties, Taft packing, Keats and Shelley memorial plans, labor supply and wages, women in business, and a lengthy medical digestion on diphtheria including symptoms, mortality, and antitoxin treatment. It closes with a light note on a pleasing conversationalist who focuses on the listener.
