Jail Break Foiled In Walla Walla County Jail
The Walla Walla county jail thwarted an attempted escape as eleven inmates were found to have dug a hole from the northeast corner through the cement floor into earth. Tools were scarce, and ringleaders are named as Joe Taylor from North Yakima and a prisoner named Johnson. The floor damage was repaired and the case will be likely appealed.
