Action on Troy road threatened as winter deadline looms
County commissioners plan to push the Atchison Troy road project in Atchison county, sending a request to contractors Rickle Dubach to appear before the board and explain slow progress. An ultimatum to "get busy or get off the job" may be delivered, with farmers' complaints echoing the road's poor condition. The six mile grading and culverting began last spring, and a crowded scene of community notices follows including local births, deaths, and events.
