Gus Schabeck Stricken Dead After Morning Call
Gus Schabeck 62 a retired East Atchison merchant died suddenly about 11 am while visiting a neighbor at 1100 Kearney Street. He toppled at the door as it opened and was pronounced dead by a physician. A Weston-born resident of Atchison since 17, he was married to Netlie Nelson and survived by a daughter Cora Hess and two sisters. Funeral plans were not set. body to be moved to the Hess home this evening.
