Former Ashton Man Dead in Chicago Hospital
William Feldkirchner, a Lee County resident born January 17, 1865 in Ashton, died at 5:30 a.m. Saturday in a Chicago hospital after a brief illness. He taught public schools for ten years and later lived in Chicago. Survived by five brothers and two sisters. funeral Tuesday at his brother Fred’s Dixon home, burial in Oakwood Cemetery.
