Funeral Is Held For Mrs Eliza Beach A Pioneer Church Worker
Funeral services were held Friday afternoon for Mrs Eliza Beach at her daughter E A Durston's home. Rev R L MacWherter led the service, noting her long life as a member of the American Bible Society for nearly 60 years and her active roles in the WCTU and Crusade against the saloon. Born January 13 1829 in Norwich Connecticut she lived among early Illinois settlers and leaves son Wesley Beach daughter E A Durston sixteen grandchildren one great grandchild and brother Milo Scott.
