The sixty sixth annual Rock River Conference appointed Rev J R Hamilton to return to Ashton and Franklin Grove for a third year. Rev A I Horn of Evanston was re elected presiding elder of the Dixon District. The conference declined to take sides in a printers strike at the Methodist Book concerns printing offices. It reported church membership, finances, property values and ongoing benevolence and current gifts totaling 778 673.00. The Farmers Telephone Company annual meeting re elected directors Henry Hillison George Schafer and G M Finch and decided accrued interest go toward line and service improvements.
