Drag Roads by Dragging and Careful Rules
Farmers adopt split log or lap planks to restore muddy roads. The state highway guidance advises light drags, walking pace, riding on the drag, dragging only when wet, and building up center of roads. After a very muddy spell, vehicles should keep to one side until the road freezes. The statute imposes penalties for ruts or cuts. Rochelle mail carrier exams set for April 4 with three carriers and one substitute to be chosen for May 15 delivery.
