Louis H. McCrea a prominent Wall Lake township farmer died at his home near Sac City February 22 1918 in his fiftieth year after pneumonia. Survived by Minnie Morton his wife of Grant City Iowa and ten living children six brothers a sister and two grandchildren. Funeral at Lake View Congregational church with Rev J Irving Brown and Rev Higginbotham. burial in Wall Lake cemetery. He was active in local affairs and a member of the Brotherhood of American Yeomen.
