Italian Dies After Long Illness From Sewer Work Accident
Italian laborer Jerry Ochenary who worked for John M. Egan Jr on sewer construction died Sunday at 3:30 PM from a broken back sustained when dynamite exploded in a dirt alley near the J. E. Wagner property. He had been treated at Rochelle hospital and later at the County Infirmary at Eldela. Insurance settlement issues were resolved by States Attorney Edwards. He was buried at Oakwood cemetery Monday morning.
