The National Association for the Study and Prevention of Tuberculosis launches a nationwide Red Cross Christmas Seals campaign. Over 80 million seals printed, 25 000 agents and 100 000 volunteers will sell mainly in states except Florida Oklahoma Nevada Idaho. Proceeds stay local with a potential 400 000 outcome. Miss Anna Scharpf formerly of this place married John Reints of Rochelle Tuesday evening at six. Rev. Albertus Perry officiated at the narronage in a ceremony witnessed by immediate relatives. The bride wore a blue traveling suit. The groom is son of Mr and Mrs Allen Reints of Rochelle area. After a short trip to Chicago they plan to reside on a farm six miles north of Rochelle with a home prepared by the groom.

Wohnke, longtime Lee County sheriff, dies in Chicago
Charles W Wohnke of Chicago and former Franklin Grove resident died after a long illness at 6615 Monroe avenue. He served as Lee county sheriff from 1902 to 1906, earlier deputy, and later returned to Chicago. Survived by wife and children. funeral held at Franklin Grove Episcopal church with burial in Franklin Grove cemetery. He belonged to Modern Woodmen of America.
