Ashton public school hires a new staff for the fall term beginning September 11 1905 with H B Price retained as superintendent Miss E Louise Bates as assistant principal Miss Alice M Cleary to teach seventh and eighth grades Wagner to lead fifth and sixth grades Minnie Schade in third and fourth grades Lydia Wahl to oversee the little tots and windows get airtight strips to improve heating. Ashton Wins Again The Home Team Defeats Lee Center
The Ashton High School baseball team defeated Lee Center 17 to 6 Sunday afternoon at Ernest Meister's near Lee Center. Allen Krug Sindlinger Aschenbrenner and Sauer had two base hits.
